$15 million - and a personal touch - accelerate aerospace research, education at CU Boulder
Antonella Albuja’s doctoral degree in aerospace engineering from CU Boulder just became more valuable, as did the educational, research and career prospects of those who follow her in the Smead Program, thanks to $15 million in total support from a notable Colorado family. The gifts also name the Ann and H.J. Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences.
Research seed grant program accepting proposals for interdisciplinary research, creative work
The 2017 Innovative Seed Grant Program is accepting proposals for interdisciplinary ventures on the CU Boulder campus, due Feb. 12. The program has set aside $1 million to fund grants of up to $50,000 each.
