Faculty-Staff Edition - Feb. 17, 2023

Chancellor Philip DiStefano, Chief Financial Officer Todd Haggerty, three faculty members and three students testified in support of higher education bills introduced in the current Colorado legislative session.

Two professors are being recognized for inventions that could have “real impact on the welfare of society.” Corrella Detweiler and Wei Zhang have been named senior members of the National Academy of Inventors.

Students donated 1,966 meal swipes as part of the Swipe it Forward event, which encouraged students with meal plans to “pay it forward” and support their fellow Buffs. The meal swipes will now be available as emergency meal cards to students in need of extra support.

A total of 55 Colorado Buffaloes were named to the Pac-12 Conference's 2022 Fall Academic Honor Roll. The recipients were from men's and women's cross-country, football, soccer and volleyball.
