Historic Old Main cottonwood slated for removal over winter break
Planted in 1879 or 1880, the “Old Main cottonwood” is the oldest and tallest tree on campus. At more than 140 years old, 110 feet tall and 19 feet in circumference at the base of the trunk, it has outlived and outgrown all other campus cottonwoods that were planted at the end of the 19th century.
Engineering residential community coming to Williams Village in 2023
First-year engineering students will have a new home in fall 2023, offering a holistic residential academic experience at Williams Village.
CUPD strengthens communication skills through intensive 3-day training
About a dozen CU police officers and staff members, along with several members of other police departments, learned how to be better listeners, approach confrontation in a more effective manner and better understand the impact of non-verbal communication in a recent course.
Popular daily parking permit program extended through May 2022
