Mathematician Agnès Beaudry wins high recognition from peers
The American Mathematical Society named Agnès Beaudry a fellow. Beaudry is the sixth CU Boulder faculty member to garner this distinction.
Civil engineering society establishes medal to honor Dan Frangopol
The American Society of Civil Engineers board of directors has established the Dan M. Frangopol Medal for Life-Cycle Engineering of Civil Structures in honor of Dan Frangopol, a distinguished CU Boulder professor emeritus with a significant career in the university’s Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering.
d’Andre Willis named assistant vice chancellor for planning and design
Vice Chancellor for Infrastructure and Sustainability Chris Ewing has named d’Andre Willis as assistant vice chancellor for planning and design. Willis will continue to serve as campus architect, as well, a position she was appointed to in 2021.

Who supports Putin? Men, older generations and traditionalists, study shows
In a new study led by CU Boulder, researchers surveyed more than 8,400 people in six former Soviet Union nations about their support for the controversial Russian leader. In Ukraine, at least, Russia's long and bloody invasion seems to have backfired on the leader.
