The University of Colorado Boulder will hold its Commencement 2023 ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, at Folsom Field. No tickets or registrations are required.

Thousands of degrees will be awarded at the event, a chance for the campus community, families and friends to honor the remarkable graduates. Alumni who graduated during winter conferral on Dec. 15, 2022, are invited to attend the ceremony as well.
"I can't wait to celebrate our graduates alongside their loved ones and the entire campus community on May 11," said Chancellor Philip DiStefano. "Our students have so much to be proud of, and I'm excited to cheer their successes as they join the community of Forever Buffs."
Bud Coleman, commencement marshal, will lead the joyous occasion and its many traditions, including the processional of graduates into Folsom Field, congratulatory remarks, award presentations, a performance of the Alma Mater and more.
Many colleges, schools, departments, programs and groups will also hold recognition ceremonies at locations throughout campus May 11–13.
