This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, join fellow CU Boulder students to spend the day “on” (instead of spending the day off) by connecting and participating in community celebrations in Denver.

A nationally recognized day of service, the Center for African and African American Studies (CAAAS) and the Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) are teaming up to offer an opportunity to participate in a march and parade celebration in honor of King's birthday. Food and transportation will be provided for those who sign up to participate on CUServes.

Meet on the UMC south terrace for introductions and breakfast, then travel as a group to downtown Denver to attend and participate in the march and parade community celebration hosted by the city of Denver. CU Boulder community members who live in Denver are welcome to meet at Denver City Park.
