Planted tree saplingThe Masters of the Environment (MENV) program at CU Boulder is proud to support a local effort to plant trees next month!

Students from several Boulder County high schools are seeking to plant 1,200 trees this Earth Day through a campaign called Tree-Plenish. Tree-Plenish is providing $5 tree saplings to members of the public. Online orders for Eastern redbud, blue spruce, Douglas fir and red maple saplings can be made through March 30.

Trees will be available for pick up on April 22. Participants can also request student assistance to plant the saplings on their property. The students also invite members of the public to volunteer to plant trees on April 22. Sign up to volunteer.

The Tree-Plenish program is partnering with Cool Boulder, a campaign convened by the city of Boulder and supported by MENV at CU Boulder. Cool Boulder is working to empower community-led, nature-based climate action through pollinator pathways, connected canopies and absorbent landscapes.
