This week brings events to keep you fueled for finals––craft and coloring nights, health and fitness sessions, the rescheduled Peach Tree Rascals concert, International Coffee Hour, “Malignant” film screening and more.

Fun Before Finals: Grab-n-Go Goodie Bags

 1–4 p.m.  UMC 330
Stop by the Center for Student Involvement for your finals survival goodie bag. You’ll find fidget toys for stress relief, snacks and swag. Limit one per student while supplies last.

Mindful Mondays

 2–3 p.m.  Wardenburg Student Health Center, West Solarium, Room 321
Finals are almost here! Join fellow Buffs for a meditation session to help you manage transitions and change, and learn mindfulness activities you can use over break.


Tuesday, Dec. 7

Fun Before Finals: Pause for Paws (therapy dogs)

 1–3 p.m.  UMC fountain area
There’s no better friend than a furry friend. Take a study break and stop by to pet a therapy dog.

DIY Nights

 5–7 p.m.  In person
Let your creativity shine at DIY Night! Take a break from studying and come make your very own desk lamp. All materials will be provided, and each participant will need to register in advance. Space is limited, so sign up early.


Wednesday, Dec. 8

Fun Before Finals: Coloring and Hot Cocoa

 2–5 p.m.  UMC 330
Stop by the Center for Student Involvement to take a break and relax from studying for finals. Mindfulness coloring sheets, hot cocoa and tea will be available.

Wellness Wednesdays: Fueling your body

 Dec. 8  2–4 p.m.  Wardenburg Student Health Center, West Solarium
It's important to fuel our bodies to stay energized and focused. Learn how to maximize your food through finals week.


Thursday, Dec. 9

Fun Before Finals: Yoga

 Dec. 9  10–11 a.m.  Rec Center
Come relax and de-stress! Yoga mats will be provided, and you don’t need previous yoga experience. Remember to wear clothes that will allow you to move and stretch, and don’t forget your water bottle.

Rescheduled Homecoming Concert: Peach Tree Rascals

 7 p.m.  UMC, Glenn Miller Ballroom  $5
Enjoy an evening of music with the rising band Peach Tree Rascals and local supporting artist Mr. Mota. All tickets purchased for the Nov. 3 date will be honored at this rescheduled date. Tickets are $5 for CU Boulder students and $10 for the general public. If you have a ticket from Nov. 3 and cannot attend on the new date, you may request a refund. 


Friday, Dec. 10

International Coffee Hour

 4–5:30 p.m.  UMC North Dining Area (by the stage), across from the UMC Starbucks
International Coffee Hour is a space for international and domestic students, faculty and staff at CU Boulder to gather and celebrate culture and promote diversity and inclusion on campus. Everyone is welcome to attend. Free coffee and snacks will be provided. Come meet new Buffs and have a fun evening!

Program Council Film Series: Malignant

 Dec. 10  7:30 p.m.  CHEM 140
Bring your popcorn and a friend and come watch Malignant. Follow the story of Madison, who is paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders. Her torment worsens as she discovers these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; the film begins at 8 p.m.
