National Voter Education Week

National Voter Education Week takes place this week! Take a look at these five days of actions for the week, and make your plan to vote on Nov. 2.

Monday, Oct. 4

Mindful Mondays

 2–3 p.m.  Wardenburg, West Solarium, Room 321  Virtual
Start your week by attending Mindful Mondays to participate in a mindfulness activity. Come explore the relationships in your life through journaling prompts and a meditation practice.

Tuesday, Oct. 5

Transfer Student Coffee

 7:30–9:30 a.m.  Williams Village North, International Transfer Lounge
Enjoy your morning with a medium cup of coffee (or tea!). Make sure to wear your Transfer Buff T-shirt on the first Tuesday of each month to get your morning warm drink! 

Poker Tournament

 7–9 p.m. UMC, The Connection
Come show your skills at the free Texas Hold’em poker tournament. Sign-up starts at 6 p.m. at The Connection front desk. Prizes for top finishers!

Wednesday, Oct. 6

Aerospace and Defense Career & Internship Fair

 11 a.m.–4 p.m.  Virtual
Are you studying engineering, physics, astronomy or other related aerospace fields? No matter your experience or background, attend this event for internships and job opportunities within your field. Veteran Networking Night

Are you part of the CU veteran community? Grow your network, make connections and connect one-on-one with top employers during Veteran Networking Night. Don’t know where to start or feeling stuck in your internship search? No problem! Join Career Services to learn about strategies for finding, applying for and successfully getting internships. You can drop by for any workshop. You won't need to attend more than one, but you are welcome to do so. Register on Handshake to participate.

Guided Paint Classes

Take time to relax and learn from a pro with this guided paint class. It’s a great way to get to know others while creating a painting you can’t wait to show off to your friends! All supplies are included and can be picked up on campus. Space is limited to the first 50 students, so be sure to register early to reserve your spot.

Open Mic Night

Calling all performers! Whether you’re a singer, musician, comedian, poet, storyteller or you’ve got a skill to show off, come perform at Open Mic Night at The Connection’s Club 156. No experience is necessary, and all first-timers are welcome. Performer sign-up begins at 6 p.m. at The Connection front desk.

Tropical Paradise Disco Dance Party

Dress up and get ready to dance with fellow Buffs. Enjoy a tropical paradise disco while you enjoy some food and drinks to make the most of your Friday night!
