Program Council Film Series: The Lighthouse

8–10 p.m. Chem 140
Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe star in this thriller about two lighthouse keepers trying to maintain their sanity while living on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s. As always, there will be free popcorn.

Demo Weeks at The Rec

Jan. 21–24 Rec Center
Try out a variety of free martial arts and dance classes during Demo Week at The Rec. Classes range from Enshin Karate to Afro-latin Dance, and much more. Use this as a chance to explore your inner creativity and try something new!

Backcountry Skiing 101

5:30–7:30 p.m. Rec Center
Attend this free workshop to learn how to safely get in the backcountry to ski. You will learn how to find areas to ski as well as create maps and tour plans for your backcountry riding adventures. It’s never too late to learn how to backcountry ski! Learn more and register.

Health and Wellness Summit

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  UMC
Learn about a holistic approach to health and wellness, as well as programs and services offered on campus, at the Health and Wellness Summit. There also will be an interactive expo during the afternoon. Learn more and register.

Women of Color Yoga

 4–5 p.m. Rec Center, Mind Body Studio 
This vinyasa flow yoga class is open to all levels of experience. Recognizing that women of color are underrepresented in American yoga, this class will seek to provide a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for women of color, non-binary people of color and allies. This program is put on in collaboration with the Graduate Students of Color Collective.
