What makes Small Group Training such a great option for members?

The Rec is proud to offer you LOTS of different options to work out, find your fit, and play. While personal training and large group fitness classes are popular options for many members, today we want to tell you about another option that you may not have considered. Small Group Training courses, or SGT’s for short. This summer The Rec will be offering the following SGT classes: Barbell Training 7 Program Design, Olympic Weightlifting, Functional Training, and Sacred Flow Vinyasa Yoga. Why take one of these classes? Because of the Benefits!

The Benefits:

  • More Personal Attention – With only a handful of participants in each class, instructors have the time to give each person individualized instruction and training.

  • More Economical – Personal Training provides the greatest opportunity for 1 on 1 attention, development and success. However, many members find that SGT’s fit into their budget a bit easier, while still giving them the personal attention they need to reach their goals.

  • Variety – With lots of different classes offered each semester, there are options to meet the needs of virtually any member. By working with knowledgeable fitness professionals you get a varied workout tailored to the needs of the class.
