Each summer, just under 8,000 university students (undergraduate and graduate) use Summer Session to:
• Maintain or advance their degree progress
• Focus on a difficult or prerequisite course
• Work toward a second major or minor
• Allow time for an internship or study abroad experience during the fall or spring semesters
While registration for summer 2018 will not begin until March 7, 2018, it is helpful for students plan their spring/summer coursework.
Finances: Out-of-state students pay tuition by the credit hour. Financial Aid is available through CU Achieve scholarships, Summer Pell and University
scholarships for students who qualify.
There are several ways faculty, advisors and staff can learn more about and engage in summer:
Advisors across campus will devote their walk-in hours (1 to 3 p.m.) on these two Mondays to Summer Session advising. These two advising days will
be promoted to all students as an opportunity to talk to their advisors about ways they can use Summer Session to advance their degrees and explore their interests.
Summer offers exciting and challenging options for students to further their educational goals.
