For those affected by Harvey: Where to find support, resources

Our thoughts are with all the people, and especially our fellow Buffs, from the Gulf Coast area affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Our campus offers a safety net for students, faculty and staff in times of distress, and we encourage anyone in need to seek campus resources. Available services include Counseling and Psychiatric Services, Student Support and Case Management, the Office of Victim Assistance, Student Legal Services and the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program to name a few.
We are aware that the hardships created by this unfortunate event may result in some disruption of academic activities and may include unavoidable faculty, staff and student absences from campus.
We ask that those who manage students or staff exercise flexibility in granting leave, consulting campus disaster leave guidelines and accommodating flex schedules as appropriate given each department's business needs. If you have questions about accommodating time off for your employees, please contact Employee Relations at 303-492-6475. We encourage supervisors to make sure that classes and office functions are suitably covered during this time.
If you'd like to make a donation and view the latest Hurricane Harvey news, one place to go is the American Red Cross. Also, CU Boulder Today will continue to be a source of campus updates related to the situation.
