The University Theatre Building located on the CU Boulder campus at the base of the Rocky Mountains houses multiple performance venues, rehearsal spaces, classrooms, and labs for the Theatre & Dance divisions.
History
Formerly the Buckingham Library, the University Theatre Building is home to the Charlotte York Irey Dance Theatre, the newly renovated Roe Green Theatre, the Loft Theatre, and the Acting Studio. Over a dozen productions are presented each year featuring student and faculty actors, dancers, choreographers, directors, and designers.
Reservations & Rentals
CU Theatre and Dance faculty, graduate students, majors and minors are able to reserve spaces to rehearse. Please use the submenu to find detailed information about reserving a studio, learning more about our performance venues, or inquiring performances. If you are currently a departmental student and do not have access to our reservation site, please email thtrdnce@colorado.edu
Theatre & Dance has a new departmental policy, and we are unfortunately not offering our space to people outside of the Theatre & Dance department.
