Student Employment
Note: Effective 1/1/2021 in accordance with the Healthy Families and Workplace Act, all student employees will accrue sick leave. The accrual rate will be 0.034 hours for every 30 hours worked (learn more in the "Student Employment Handbook," pg. 25).
Studio Coordinator for 2023/2024
Pay: $15/hourly for up to but not exceeding 25 hours/week
Job Description: The studio coordinator is the primary point of contact for groups wishing to use the Acting Studio. They handle the management of the technical elements, seating, etc. They communicate with faculty regarding use of the Acting Studio space that could mildly interfere with class usage/needs. NOTE: This position can also be the same person that is the Sandbox student production coordinator, but does not have to be.
Qualifications: Someone with some technical experience, organizational skills, communication skills and the ability to multitask. Being level headed and able to work with anyone and everyone would also be helpful.
- Completes assigned/received work in a timely/efficient manner.
- Submits all hours worked in given pay period into CU Payroll system on MyLeave in timely manner.
- Willingness to accept constructive feedback and strives to improve.
- Demonstrates proficiency in one or more areas: lighting, sound, stage management
- Consistently practices a strong work ethic and is respectful to supervisors and peers.
- Adhere and commit to practicing the 4 Basic Tenets of Professional Etiquette, embraced by the Department of Theatre & Dance: Communication, Respect, Safety, Accountability
