2016
Novice Coach
Women's team

Matthew Molina is coaching his fourth year of University of Colorado Crew. This is the third year he is coaching as the Novice Women’s coach. A Colorado native he grew up in Littleton with a vast love of sports including hockey, soccer, and ultimate frisbee. Matt knew nothing about rowing before he began his attendance at the University of Colorado. He competed with Colorado Crew from 2010-2013 and achieved the limited fourth year of rowing exposure. During that time he competed in the top Varsity 8+, served as treasurer on the Crew board, and developed a greater love rowing. Matt can now proudly say he comes from a rowing family as his sister, Tara, was a red-shirt rower at the University of Portland. Now a graduate of CU, Matt received his degree in biochemistry and works at a Denver garden center where he is learning to become a grower. In his free time enjoys the refreshing Rocky Mountain air, the ample amount of Colorado golden brewed goodness, and playing and listening to music.
