The mission of Recreation Services (RS) is to promote overall student wellness. We accomplish our mission by providing organized and informal programs designed to engage the body and mind for the purposes of fun, fitness, social interaction, competition, skill acquisition, and adventure.
- Learn all rules and mechanics of selected sport

D1 Men's Ice Hockey Head Coach and D2 Men's Ice Hockey Head Coach
The University of Colorado Boulder Men’s Hockey Club is looking for head coaches for both it’s ACHA Division I and Division II teams. Additional information for both positions can be found below:
- Develop and run team practice plans for 3 on ice sessions a week
- Develop team systems and on ice chemistry for game play
- Support student leadership
For D1:
- Attending league and ACHA coaching meetings as a team representative
- Travel with the team on 5-6 road trips a year
For D2:
- Attend and vote as a member of the BMHC Board
- Travel with the team on 2-3 road trips a year
- Level 3 USA Hockey coaching certification
- 10 years hockey experience, can be a mix of personal play at a high level as well as coaching experience.

- For D1: The salary range for this position is $16,000 - $20,000 per season.

Head Coaching Position for the Colorado Club Dance Team
The University of Colorado Boulder Club Dance Team is looking for a Dance Head Coach. The head coach will be responsible to uphold rules, policies and procedures as specified in the CU Club Sport Handbook.
- Required to attend auditions, coaches/captains meetings, choreography practices, practices and competitions throughout the year.
- Assist with preparing for all competitions and competition travel.
- Help with scheduling of practices, fundraisers, competitions and travel.
- Ensure safety of all team members throughout the season including practices and travel.
- Demonstrate competency in teaching, choreography and cleaning of routines as well as maintain a positive attitude throughout the season.
- Work effectively and professionally with administrators and collateral to help continue to develop and grow the program.
- Assist in fundraising goals and opportunities.
- Work effectively with the member-elected captains. This team is a collaborative effort and our captains are involved in all decisions made about the team.
- Hours: 3 hours per practice, 2 practices per week, totalling 6 hours per week.
- May include additional Sunday practices when team learns choreography.
- We are looking for a coach that will be a dependable addition to our team and provide our members with valuable training and support. We are specifically looking for an applicant with a strong background in jazz, contemporary, pom, and hip hop technique, as well as experience cleaning and giving constructive feedback on competition routines.

Men's Head Coach for Colorado Crew
Colorado Crew is a co-ed, club team, consisting of 30 varsity athletes, with an anticipated novice class of 30. The team is administered by a student officer board, under the direction of the CU Sport Clubs office. CU Crew competes in the Plains Region of the American Collegiate Rowing Association, and is based at Boulder Reservoir, just north of the University of Colorado. Major regattas the team attends in a given season include the Head of the Charles, WIRA Championships, and ACRA National Championship, among others. Colorado Crew is a growing and increasingly competitive team with many talented and driven athletes. Any interested candidates must be available from early Aug. through the end of May.
- Oversee the Men's team. Provide direction for, and coordination of, the novice & assistant coaches.
- Maintain high standards of safety both on and off the water.
- Promote growth and development of student-athletes.
- Design and implement an annual training program.
- Develop athletes’ technical and physical skills.
- Transport team equipment to and from regattas
- Oversee rigging and maintenance of equipment.

- Monday–Thursday 5:00 AM–8:00 AM during August-October & March-May

Lacrosse Men's Head Coach
The Buffaloes are currently a member of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) and the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC)
The incoming coach will be responsible for leading and collaborating with the student leaders of the men’s lacrosse team. The Colorado men’s lacrosse team is a student-run collegiate sport club at CU Boulder that is consistently ranked among the top programs in the country.
This position spans the full academic year with practices and competitions during the school week as well as typically on the weekends.
This job requires occasional travel during both the fall and spring seasons.
- Develop and run team practice plans for 3 on-field sessions a week in the fall, and 5 days in the Spring.
- Develop team systems and on-field chemistry for gameplay.
- Support full student leadership and athlete development.
- Delegate responsibilities to assistant coaches
- Attending all required MCLA and Club Sports Office meetings.
- Education: High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Coaching experience at the high school level is required, collegiate coaching experience preferred.
- (MCLA/NCAA) Playing experience at the college level or professional preferred.

Student Travel Assistant
For this position, we require 10-20 hours per week and it is dependent on the amount of club travel that has occurred. Hours are flexible and can be adjusted based on the applicants schedule but would be between the hours of 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday - Friday.

- Collect travel receipts from club officers and coaches
- Communicate with club staff and/or club officers & coaches about any missing receipts or issues with receipts
- Attempt to obtain refunds, tax exemption, or itemized receipts when needed
- Prepare receipts for accounting once all of them have been collected for a specific trip
- Update clubs general ledger with total cost of trip once receipts are ready to be submitted
- Keep sport club staff abreast of status for travel reports
- Make sure travel reports are submitted within 30 days of a teams trip
- Review weekly travel card charge email each week and follow up on any outstanding charges
- Learn and enforce all sport club policies and procedures related to travel reconciliation
- Work cooperatively with other areas of the department to achieve established goals
- Attend required staff trainings and meetings
- Perform other work and duties as assigned

Women's Volleyball Coach
The team is administered under an officer board under the direction of CU Club Sports. This program has about twenty-five players that take part in competitive tournaments over the course of the year. The head volleyball coach provides leadership and guidance for the teams as well as works alongside the President and Vice President. They promote teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and dedication to the sport. The team will travel to multiple tournaments in-state as well as out-of-state. This position spans the full academic year.
Responsible to: President and Vice President of the Club
- Coordinate and supervise practices and games.
- Promote teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Design practice plan and help advise lineups.
- Communicate effectively with Club Presidents, officers, and players.
- Provide advice on technique.
- Coordinates in-game strategy
- Attend open gyms, tryouts, practices meetings and tournaments.
- Lead practices three times a week
- Travel with team to tournaments up to five times in the fall and four times in the spring (For out-of-state tournaments hotel and airfare are paid for by the club)

Freeski Coach
The CU Freeski team is looking for qualified and passionate coaches to coach our FWQ athletes. Seasonal position with competitive pay working 1-2 days a week (mainly on Saturdays) and paid travel opportunities for competitions. Weekly practices at Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, and Winter Park. Our team is adding snowboard athletes this year so skiers and snowboarders are welcome to apply. Coaching for the CU Freeski Team offers the unique opportunity to coach high level adult FWQ athletes. Female coaches are strongly encouraged to apply as we are looking to add more women to our coaching staff.

CU Fencing Head Coach
The CU Fencing Club is looking for a passionate and qualified head coach to help athletes grow from all fencing levels. The CU Fencing Club is made up of ~ 40 members from a broad range of fencing backgrounds (beginner-advanced). The club competes at local tournaments (including Colorado Cups at DFC), travels once or twice a year for out-of-state competition, and hosts unsanctioned and sanctioned events throughout the year. As a club, we prioritize making fencing accessible to everyone. This entails tailoring our practices and events to both the casual and competitive fencers. The club is growing every year with more talented and motivated students becoming a part of the CU Fencing family.

Esports Coordinator
This position will work under the direction of the Assistant Director of Team Sports to assist with the development and facilitation of an intramural esports League. The goal of this position is to help the Intramural esports program expand and develop through research and communication.
- Assist with the development, design, and coordination of all aspects of esports programming to meet the assessed needs, interests, and capabilities of the students at CU Boulder.
- Help establish standards for online etiquette and sportsmanship for all esports teams.
- Assist with set up and oversight of CU Intramural esports Discord.
- Assist with the training of Staff to manage the Intramural Discord Channel
- Research and stay up to date with the current trends in esport programming
- Assist with issues that occur when tracking team records, and behavior of participants.
- Conduct all games in a fun, fair, and safe environment.
- Meet regularly to provide training and development with Team Sports professional staff to ensure continuity of programming.
