CU Teach Engineering Math (51 credits)
Earn an engineering degree and secondary math teacher (grades 7-12) licensure simultaneously.
- Includes a semester-long student teaching experience in a middle or high school math classroom.
- Improve the teaching and learning of mathematics and engineering design in middle and high schools.
The concentration includes 12 additional math credit hours and 39 education credit hours (some of which can also count for the Engineering & Applied Science Humanities & Social Science requirement).
CU Teach Engineering students must meet admission requirements for the Undergraduate Teacher Licensure program through CU Boulder’s School of Education.
Admission to the Undergraduate Teacher Licensure program through CU Boulder’s School of Education is competitive; satisfying the minimum criteria does not guarantee acceptance.
Please refer to the School of Education's Secondary Math Licensure Page or Middle School Math Licensure Page to learn more about the application process and access application materials.
