Assistant Director of Orchestral Studies Joel Schut—with engagement by his string colleagues—recently organized a meaningful outreach opportunity for Colorado students and educators. Based on nominations from public school educators statewide, some 50 talented instrumentalists came together for an afternoon focused on leadership for string musicians.

• Join us for the Warner Imig Music Building dedication ceremony and open house on Sept. 17! Festivities will begin at 11 a.m. on the southeast side of our building and you’re invited: come celebrate our completed expansion and tour the new space while enjoying performances, rehearsals, presentations and refreshments.
• Did you know? College of Music program books are now digital with the exception of ticketed CU Presents programs. Programs for all student, faculty and ensemble performances are available to download and print one week in advance at cupresents.org/programs. A QR code linking to cupresents.org/programs is also posted at venues to help our audiences locate programs. 
• Give here to contribute to the Faculty Tuesdays Fund, supporting activities of College of Music faculty. 

• Stay informed about COVID-19 protocols on campus. Masks are required in public indoor spaces on the CU Boulder campus, regardless of vaccination status; masking also applies to community members attending in-person indoor events on campus.
