Leah Smith is a graduate of Boston University, originally from Nashville, Tennessee. She holds a Baccalaureate degree in Psychology, as well as specialization in Music and Education. Her skills include teaching, recruitment, admissions, advising and international education.
Smith has worked in both for-profit and non-profit environments, as well as experience living and working in international locations such as Germany, Thailand, and South Korea. This broad range of experience has prepared her to work with a variety of individuals, connecting with students and their goals while working to support achievement of those goals.
In undergraduate academic services, Smith provides first-year advising, as well as support for recruitment efforts and curricular scheduling; she also works with students and their goals to study internationally. She is heavily involved with both students and faculty in efforts to help align institutional goals with student needs. She also works with the welcome program for new students.
