Professional Meeting and Development Support

Up to $500 in Professional Meeting and Development Support (PMDS) is available to IPHY students and students conducting research in IPHY labs traveling to IPHY-relevant conferences and student organization events. PMDS funds can be used to offset the cost of transportation, registration, membership, and accommodations.

Requirements

To be eligible for PMDS, students must:

1. be an IPHY student or conduct research in an IPHY lab.
2. have applied for funding from CU faculty or non-IPHY sources, such as the CSI Travel Funding or UROP. Students who have received other funding for their event can still receive PMDS.
3. submit a PMDS application by 45 days before the start of travel.
4. not have received PMDS in the current academic year.
