Summer Research Faculty Reminder
If you have submitted a Summer Research (DIC) form for a faculty member and need to submit an updated or additional form for the same faculty member, be sure to select “1st addendum, 2nd addendum, etc.” on the form before submitting the request to HRSC@colorado.edu.
Recruitment Process Reminder
If you have any graduating student employees whom you wish to hire into a temporary position, please refer to the temporary employee hiring process available on the HR Website. Please remember that, according to compliance rules, employees should not begin working in their temporary roles until they have been fully hired and are officially in the system.
If you have any outstanding PETs that you would like to be entered before the end of the fiscal year, please submit your request(s) to HRSC@colorado.edu by July 11. This soft deadline will ensure that we have enough time to review and enter your request(s).
Leave Sweeps
Employee leave balances will be swept down to their maximum allowance effective July 1, 2025.
Help employees predict if or how much leave will be swept by following the instructions outlined in this Employee Services blog post. If you would like assistance pulling queries, please submit a request to HRSC@colorado.edu.
Current permanent faculty (anyone being paid on a 9x9 or 9x12 contract) can switch to the other pay schedule for AY24-25. They may change their election through their employee portal. The deadline to do so is EOD July 11, 2025. This is a hard deadline; the contract type cannot be changed after this date. For guidance, please see the Employee Services Website.
Lecturer Summer Benefits: If your department has any active lecturer appointments, you should have received a roster for review. Please reply to HRSC@colorado.edu by EOD May 19, 2025, with the names of anyone who should be placed on short work break (SWB) over the summer. Anyone with an expired spring 2025 contract who is not placed on SWB will be terminated.
