Leave Sweeps
Employee leave balances will be swept down to their maximum allowance effective July 1, 2025.
Help employees predict if or how much leave will be swept by following the instructions outlined in this Employee Services blog post. If you would like assistance pulling queries, please submit a request to HRSC@colorado.edu.
If you have any outstanding PETs that you would like to be entered before the end of the fiscal year, please submit your request(s) to HRSC@colorado.edu by July 11. This soft deadline will ensure that we have enough time to review and enter your request(s).
Faculty Contract Election
Current permanent faculty (anyone being paid on a 9x9 or 9x12 contract) can switch to the other pay schedule for AY25-26. They may change their election through their employee portal. The deadline to do so is EOD July 11, 2025. This is a hard deadline; the contract type cannot be changed after this date. For guidance, please see the Employee Services Website.
Additional lecturer job codes have been launched to help identify full-time staff (1419S) and researchers (1419R) who are teaching temporarily. HRSC will help identify the correct job code to be used. Please ensure that you use the appropriate job codes in the future.
Adjoint codes will be updated to the following for the upcoming AY:
1406-1408 Adjoint -> Adjoint
1409-1413 Adjunct -> Adjoint (Academic)
1414-1418 Attend Rank -> Adjoint (Attend)
Impacted job codes will be updated effective 8/1/25 in HCM. Lists will be emailed to departments closer to the start of the AY to confirm updates to job titles.
