Certify Your Leave
- Staff, Research Faculty, temporary staff, and biweekly students must certify their leave. Certifications and supervisor approvals must be completed by August 31st.
- Additional information, an illustrated guide, and step-by-steps of the certification process can be found on Employee Services' Leave Certification website.
Increased Workload
- We are approaching our peak season. Please expect response times slightly longer than usual due to increased influx in work.
- Continue to utilize our spreadsheets by marking new employees/urgent employees so they are worked on first. We can place a slightly higher priority working on a FIFO so that they can have access before the start date.
- Ticket statuses and HRSC alerts are accessible 24/7 through the HRSC Customer Portal.
August Monthly Deadline
- Stay up to date on the approaching deadlines by utilizing the HRSC Monthly Deadline Calendars.
Tuition Remission Due Date
- Tuition remission is due by September 5th for the fall semester.

New Website
- We hear you! The HRSC website is getting a makeover to include a new look and layout, updated accessibility to resources, and more. Website launch coming soon!
Research Faculty Performance Evaluations
- Research Faculty performance evaluations are due by September 8, 2021. Please reach out to resfachr@colorado.edu if you have any questions.
Graduate Hires and Lecturers Contracts
- Please submit your Fall Graduate and Lecturer hires on semester contracts only. If you have any specific questions please reach out to your dedicated coordinator.
Payroll Registers
- Payroll Registers will be available August 24th. Please be sure to review your registers for any missing appointments or other discrepancies.
