Human Resources - Classified Staff Step Pay Notification
Dear Classified Staff,
You are receiving this email because you are a current classified employee. All eligible classified employees should have received an initial placement notification from the Department of Personnel and Administration (DPA) with an estimated time-in-job series for the Step Pay Program, per the 2022 Amended Partnership Agreement in COWINS Article 31.6.
Employees can reference the Calculate Your 2024 Step Pay Rate Guide to estimate their pay rate based on their time-in-job series.
If eligible employees believe their time-in-job series is incorrect, they are encouraged to follow the Time-in-Job Series Additional Information Submission Instructions to submit additional information to DPA for further review by 4/30/24. Please note: If you do not have any documentation on hand, you do NOT need to reach out to gather additional documentation in your initial submission. DPA will do this research and reach out if they need additional information.
Only eligible classified employees received a notice of time-in-job series. If you are not eligible, you will not receive a notification.
