Internal Career Track Promotional Announcements

CU Boulder will announce internal career track promotions on this page. Positions listed on this page are currently occupied by a Boulder campus employee who has been identified for a career track promotion or title change. (For example, a specialist whose title is changing to a senior specialist, or an administrative assistant I moving to an administrative assistant II, etc.)

Positions will be posted for 3 business days.

As a standard practice for internal career track promotions, CU Boulder posts the pay grade minimum to the pay grade midpoint. The final salary offer for a promotion is typically between the minimum and the start of the 2nd quartile of the pay grade and depends on available funding; education, experience, licensure or certifications directly related to the role; time in the role (current job level at CU); and pay equity across campus for substantially similar jobs. The midpoint is the target pay rate for experienced employees fully competent in the role, not an employee newly promoted to the role.
