• Appointments are for members within three years of retirement who need help with planning. Appointments are available in-person, online, or by phone. If a member is more than three years out from retirement, they can call Customer Service and get help that way instead. Customer Service:1-800-759-7372.

There are two ways an employee can set up a 1:1 appointment with a Benefits Counselor at PERA

  1. Call Customer Service to request the appointment: 800-759-7372
  2. Log into their member account at
    1. Find the Appointment tab on the menu on the left-hand side of the home screen.
    2. Click “Retirement Benefits Appointment” (in green)
    3. Then a calendar will open with the next available meeting times for the member to choose.


CU Boulder employees can schedule individual in-person or virtual consultations by visiting TIAA's scheduling website. They can log in with their TIAA credentials or register as a guest to see dates, times, and additional information.
