Women's Fertility Group
Most people focus exclusively on medical interventions to reach their goal of having a baby. However, the emotional impact is often neglected until the distress is greatly affecting their day-to-day life and relationships. By joining this group, you can learn how to manage difficult emotions and life challenges associated with your fertility diagnosis. Joining this group can offer a space where you can meet others who are in a similar situation, share in each other’s journey, and learn from each other’s experiences.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
- Secure a peer network for outreach and support to help decrease isolation, validate common worries and celebrate successes.
- Educate oneself as to the wide variety of treatment approaches and options by hearing other’s experiences
- Use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to aid in coping skills to help with the emotional impact of fertility challenges
