Aches, Pains, and Migraines? Your Workplace Set-Up May Be the Cause
At least 1/3 of back injuries could be prevented through a better designed workspace that fits individual stature and physical needs. In this seminar, you’ll become more familiar with the most common injuries caused by a poor workspace set-up and tips on how to “fit” your workspace to your body’s needs. You will learn how to establish proper body posture for your workspace desk, chair, monitor, keyboard, and mouse along with exercises you can perform at your desk to help reduce the chances of a workspace injury.
For the most impactful experience, be at your workspace during the presentation so that you can make changes to your workspace to better achieve healthy body postures.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
- Identify the most common muscular and skeletal injuries related to poor workspace set-up.
- Establish their own neutral posture positioning for: office chair, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and desk height to reduce the possibility of a workspace injury.
- Perform exercises designed to be done at a workspace.
