Allyship: Advancing Diversity and Inclusion

(Virtual) April 12th, from 10am - 11:30am

In this session, participants will learn how to define and leverage their allyship and walk away with a template to help guide their learning and steps for action. After attending this event, the learner will be able to define allyship, explain the importance of allyship, identify and apply effective ally behaviors, and reflect on the impacts of their allyship. There is no cost for this training.

Getting Things Done
(In-Person) April 19th and 20th, from 12:30pm - 4:30pm each day

Getting Things done Training isn’t just about getting more things done. It’s about learning how to be more appropriately engaged with your work and life. In this course, participants will learn and practice new behaviors to engage more effectively with their to-dos and commitments, so they can focus their attention on things that matter most and create more mental space at work and at home. Getting Things Done is a system that teaches skills to manage the constant flow of requests, tasks, and interruptions people face at all levels of the organization. The cost for this training is $185.

Making Virtual and Hybrid Meetings Inclusive
(Virtual) May 12th, from 11am - 12:30pm

This course is intended for any CU Boulder staff and faculty that holds, runs, or facilitates virtual meetings. This course will introduce participants to how to run inclusive meetings by paying particular attention to equity gaps that exist in virtual meetings. There is no cost for this training.
