A sweep of leave initiated by Employee Services has impacted employees with a vacation leave balance above the normal limit (per employee class). Boulder campus, however, is allowing a temporary limit of increase of 80 hours for the Fiscal Year 2021.

  • Employees that were impacted by this sweep will have their hours added back in during August payroll.
  • After the hours are added back, the annual leave certification process will begin in September and into October.
  • If employees have concerns about their vacation balance being lower than the new limit for FY 2021, please advise them it's temporary and will be fixed in the next cycle. This does not change the maximum vacation payout of 352 hours upon separation from the university.
