The CU Boulder Ombuds Office:

  • Provides confidential, impartial, informal and off-the-record dispute resolution assistance.
  • Serves as an information and communication resource for campus.
  • Promotes the highest standards of university governance.
  • Fosters a supportive, ethical and healthy organizational culture.
  • Furthers the University’s commitment to the principles of equality and opportunity.
  • Provides a confidential and anonymous mechanism for people to seek guidance on how to report violations of law and policies.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other campus resources to support all individuals on campus. Our office serves to complement, rather than replace, existing formal resources, channels of communication and compliance activities.
