After the briefings the week of the 18th, materials were updated and will be sent out this week. One notable change to the Institutional Based Salary is that administrative appointments can be used to calculate the 3/9ths overall amount, but cannot be applied to research amounts. The research 3/9ths limit is still only the Academic Year appointment. This will only affect faculty with an admin appointment and plans to teach (or possibly other non-research activities) this summer. Look out for those new materials!
