Travel Clinic
Cost and Payment
Students with the Gold Plan:
Travel visits during regular weekday business hours are covered. At times of increased demand when weekday travel appointments are saturated, additional after-hours or weekend offerings may be available to meet visa application deadlines. Given the nature and timing of these appointments, they are not covered by the Gold Plan, and payment is due at the time of service. Some travel vaccines are not covered and must be paid for at the time of service.
Students with BuffCare or Private Insurance:
BuffCare covers an initial appointment in the travel clinic during regular weekday business hours. It does not cover the cost of travel-related vaccinations. BuffCare also does not cover after-hours or weekend travel clinic offerings that may be available during times of high demand to meet visa application deadlines. If you have your own health insurance, payment is due at the time of service. A superbill can be provided for submission to private insurance at your request.
