Kim Overmier supports the full faculty lifecycle—from hiring through retirement—across both the personnel and data & impact divisions within the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA). She reviews all faculty offer letters, manages faculty personnel records, and supports the flow of faculty data into the Faculty Information System (FIS). Kim advises academic units on faculty policies and procedures and contributes to personnel and data‑related projects that help ensure clear, consistent, and well‑coordinated processes across campus. 

Kim joined OFA in 2023 as the Faculty Personnel Coordinator before moving into her current role as Faculty Lifecycle Operations Specialist. She came to CU Boulder after nearly a decade at the University of South Carolina, where she taught a variety of courses and worked closely with faculty through the South Carolina Honors College. She holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in communication and rhetoric.
