Ka Yong Kleiner leads the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives in the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA), helping advance programs and partnerships that strengthen faculty success and support institutional priorities. She manages all OFA communications, oversees the development of OFA’s biennial report, and guides strategic action‑planning efforts across the office. Ka Yong also supports faculty and campus partners with the Faculty Report of Professional Activities (FRPA) and leads special projects that enhance collaboration and improve campuswide processes. 

She also contributes to several campus initiatives, including the HR Blueprint Project, the Well‑Being Innovators Network, the Engagement Champions Network, and the Coloradan Advisory Council—helping ensure that OFA’s work aligns with and advances CU Boulder’s broader goals. Originally from Malaysia, Ka Yong graduated from Marquette University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science. She later completed her master’s degree in corporate communication at CU Boulder.
