Cholpon supports the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) by leading work related to faculty data, impact, and data policy across campus. She partners closely with the Data & Analytics and Faculty Information System (FIS) teams at the Office of Information Technology (OIT) to oversee and support FIS applications, ensuring that faculty data are accurate, accessible, and aligned with the needs of academic units and campus partners. Her work helps provide reliable, comprehensive information that supports effective planning, decision‑making, and recognition of faculty career milestones and contributions. 

With an M.A. in Economics and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Cholpon brings strong analytical expertise and an interdisciplinary perspective to her role, helping the campus navigate evolving data practices with clarity and precision.
