The Office of Victim Assistance (OVA) works towards a safer, more socially just and supportive campus community by providing culturally relevant trauma response and prevention services. OVA's services are free and confidential and include providing information, support, short-term trauma-focused counseling and advocacy. Advocacy can include academic advocacy and corresponding with professors and other academic officials on a survivor's behalf.
Additionally, OVA can provide additional presentations upon request such as: Supporting Survivors, Vicarious Trauma, or Love Shouldn’t Hurt. If you are interested in OVA’s services please view OVA’s list of presentations and complete a “presentation request form” at the link provided.
