Ethnography & Evaluation Research (E&ER) conducts research and evaluation on a variety of significant issues in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, primarily in higher education. Our main research areas include

graduate and professional preparation of STEM educators and researchers
- graduate education and career development of graduate students
- professional development of faculty, scientists, and K-12 science teachers, and how that leads (or not) to change in teaching
