Conference Services Student Positions

We employ dedicated and enthusiastic student leaders each year to join our team and help create great experiences for our guests. Most positions are for the summer months and the hiring process for the season begins in January.

Conference Services Intern

Build your resumé while working with a supportive team of professionals. Duties include planning, billing, budget preparation, communication and special projects.

Conference Assistant

This position will work directly with the conference manager, as well as other CUCS professional staff, clients and conference groups, and gain experience in conference planning, customer service, communications, teamwork, registration, logistics and financial management. 

Conference Operations Assistant

The Conference Operations Assistant is a front-line position that is often the first point of contact for clients and guests and is responsible for completing tasks that assist the day-to-day office in implementing conferences and events.

Residential Services Assistant (RSA)

This Residential Services Assistant position is responsible for day-to-day support of the summer conference operations occurring within the residence halls. This position will work directly with the Residential Services Manager position to ensure all aspects for each conference are ready for the anticipated arrival. 

Residential Services Manager

This Residential Services Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day housing operations of the Residence Halls. This paraprofessional job will have varied work responsibilities depending on placement and will be scheduled to work 40(+) hours a week. This is a full-time, live in, salaried, temporary job during the summer months only.

Intern Lodging Program Assistant (Position Filled)

This intern will mostly coordinate and plan the logistics of intern lodging, including online registration, contracts, billing and check-in/out

This intern will mostly coordinate and plan the logistics of intern lodging, including online registration, contracts, billing and check-in/out.

Marketing and Social Media Intern - (Position Filled)

This nine-month to one-year internship opportunity will support the overall business strategy and growth for the university's conference services.
