Maria Pacheco works in the areas of Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and Computational Social Science. Before joining CU Boulder, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research NYC. Maria completed her PhD at Purdue University in the Department of Computer Science, and her BS in Computer Science & Engineering at the Universidad Simon Bolivar in her hometown of Caracas, Venezuela.
