Christina is interested in early hominin paleoecology with a particular focus on hard tissue biogeochemistry. Previous work employed trace element analysis on the enamel of modern and fossil fauna in eastern Africa to assess trophic level and diagenetic trends. Her advisor is Matt Sponheimer.
