Graduate Student Brad Lidge Featured in Science Magazine

Former Phillies closer Brad Lidge, who threw the winning strike of the 2008 World Series, has traded the mound for ancient ruins.
As featured in Science, Lidge is now an archaeology Ph.D. student at CU Boulder studying 2,800-year-old Etruscan artifacts in Italy using drones and ground-penetrating radar.
"I didn't want to retire and just read about archaeology—I wanted to engage in it physically."
