Provost's Post, August 2025

Welcome to another semester, everyone, and to the August edition of the Provost’s Post.

It’s my first full month on campus, and this is my first edition of the Provost’s Post. In this edition’s Perspective interview, you can learn more about me, where I come from and why I’m so delighted to be at CU Boulder.

We also have a great story on the fifth anniversary of CU Boulder’s Center for Teaching and Learning, highlighting its accomplishments in a year of celebration and continued service to our teaching mission.

Be sure to check out a short update on the reappointment of three of our deans and a big welcome to our newest dean in the School of Education, who has also done an introduction piece for this edition. There are also links to our academic instruction guidance, calls for faculty volunteers, and a host of other updates and great news stories you might have missed during the summer.

I’m eager to get started on a challenging yet exciting year, and I hope you are, too. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome this past month, and I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can in the weeks to come.

Sincerely,

Ann Stevens
