There are a variety of options for College of Music students to immerse themselves in the music and culture of a different part of the world! Music majors at have the option to study abroad for a semester or summer term. The College of Music has worked closely with the Study Abroad Office to identify programs that offer music courses, ensembles and/or applied lessons for music majors.
This program, held at the end of spring semester, is the only study abroad program hosted by the College of Music. Around a dozen students spend six weeks in Florence, Italy, learning about music and art and performing in the city that saw the birth of the Renaissance.
