SETTING UP CLICKERS FOR YOUR COURSE

This workshop will focus on technical aspects of weaving clickers into your teaching and student learning. We’ll walk through the iClicker software settings and discuss related pedagogical considerations. We will look at options for calculating clicker points, dealing with forgotten or lost student clickers, and incorporating clicker scores into final grades. We will also talk about using iClicker with D2L to post student clicker scores, track excused absences, and calculate final clicker grades. The goal of the workshop is to help you decide how best to set up clickers for your course so you can focus on their pedagogical benefits, without having to deal with technical issues.
