Anderson Language Technology Center (ALTEC)

ALTEC provides a variety of services to students of foreign languages at the University of Colorado-Boulder. At ALTEC, students can view foreign language films, listen to language practice tapes, download and record digital audio files, and much more. ALTEC facilities include computers which enable students to do word processing in foreign languages, multi-media classrooms with state of the art equipment, and a library of films from around the world. ALTEC sponsors the Foreign Language Technology Program (FLTP), a series of non-credit workshops for graduate students and faculty on incorporating technology into foreign language teaching. In addition, ALTEC also administrates Foreign Language Classes for Faculty and Staff. They are located on the first floor of Hellems, just south of Norlin Quad.
