Sam Stevens is an artist, photographer, musician, developer and inventor who grew up in the heart of the mountains in Durango and Silverton, Colorado. Over the past 11 years he has discovered and developed a new technique for creating 16-32K gigapixel 360° panoramic photography, invented the Reality Eyes Digital Dome, and dedicated his life to developing a new form of virtual reality therapy.

Growing up playing in dedicated bands since the age of 12, music and art have always been a main source of passion and inspiration in Sam’s life. In 2016 he started the Yoga in the Dome program as well as produced and performed in the Dome of Dreams Concert at the Fiske Planetarium. Sam continues to create artistic 360° photography and 360° short-films while finishing his first solo album “Keep Searching” under the stage name “Esperas.” Sam also founded the company Peaceful Places, and created the Peaceful Places VR app which will soon be released for the OculusGo, featuring his 360° photography with a focus on serving the public through VR for Good.

"Snow Canyon" by Sam StevensSnow Canyon – “Pray for peace and live to love. As an artist, my dream is to share inspiration, peace and love. I specifically focus on creating spherical panoramic photography with the hope that my work will help re-inspire the viewer’s nostalgic memories and their ‘Dreams Lost in Time.’ My artwork is made to reflect both the dream world and different perspectives of reality. My mission as an artist and photographer is to preserve special places and moments in time.

My art recreates the most precious dreams and experiences of my life. It is my hope that it does the same for others. There were many mountains I risked my life climbing in order to create a new work of art. As I was captured while photographing some of the most breathtaking moments of my life, I became aware that I was often the only person present for many of these incredible moments in such incredible places. I now find it a great honor to recreate each of those beautiful moments to share with others who weren’t there to experience them.”
