The campus community’s participation in the Staff Council blood drives has made CU Boulder not only Vitalant’s top education partner, but also the top overall account among all blood drive hosts in Colorado over the last few years!
Our current drive runs August 31 - September 2, 2021, so let’s continue to save lives and positively impact our community.
All donors are encouraged to make an appointment and must be feeling well and healthy at the time of their donation. Please check the latest requirements and safety precautions at vitalant.org. Masks/face coverings are required to be worn while donating.
To schedule an appointment, please visit vitalant.org or call (303) 363-2300. You may sign up for any Vitalant location, using the Vitalant Blood Donation Donor Pledge Page. At your appointment, please share the CU Boulder Blood Drive Code, 0248, with Vitalant team members.
Donation Location and Times
- August 31 - September 2: CU Recreation Center in the Ice Overlook Rooms, 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- September 1: East Campus Vitalant Bus, parked on Marine Street near the ARC Building, 9:00 a.m - 1:30 p.m.
Giveaway
- Two free tickets to the home football game against UNC, September 3, 2021, for donors and volunteers.
- Free Vitalant T-shirt.
All items are limited, so donate early!
If you would like to contribute new or gently-used winter coats, a collection bin will be available at on-campus blood drive locations to help support our efforts with Coats for Colorado.
Staff Council is committed to equity and inclusion, and recognizes that some people who would like to donate, are not able or eligible. If you are interested in helping or being involved in some other way, you may volunteer your time at a donor center, or contact Staff Council to explore other ways to make a difference in our community.
