The Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in STEM Education were established in 2009 to support faculty and graduate student engagement in innovative research on student learning and implementation of research-based STEM education programs and initiatives. See a list of past and current awardees and view their proposals.

One type of award is currently available: Part-time graduate award of 25% in matching funds for a GRA (Graduate Research Assistant) line during the 2020–21 academic year.

Applications may propose support for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education projects in the all stages, for the coordination of existing projects, or to seed efforts that can continue beyond the funding period.
